冬を越え、少しずつ目を覚ましてゆく庭の植物たち。
幾重にも重なる緑の葉、細く垂れる蔓、ふっくらと実る種、そして、その間からそっと顔をのぞかせる小さな花々。
季節の移ろいのなかで芽吹き、花を咲かせ、やがて枯れて土へと還ってゆく——身近な植物たちの豊かな営みを、布や糸を重ねながら、ひとつのバッグに仕立てました。
切りっぱなしの布のほつれや、揺れる一本の糸に自然の姿を映しとりたくて。
手にするたび、草花が息づく小さな庭を持ち歩くような「プランツバッグ」です。
The plants in the garden slowly awaken after their long winter rest.
Layers of green leaves, slender trailing vines, plump seeds, and tiny flowers quietly peeking through.
Plants sprout, bloom, wither, and eventually return to the earth as the seasons pass. I brought this rich cycle of life into a single bag by layering fabric and thread.
With frayed, raw-edged cloth and each gently swaying strand of thread, I hoped to capture something of nature in its untamed form.
The “Plants Bag” is like a little living garden to carry with you wherever you go.
